In my painting, I capture the meeting between power and stillness – a sailboat moving through a lively, foaming sea. I work with soft tones in blue, gray, and cream to create a dreamlike light where sky and water merge. The brushstrokes are free and full of movement, especially in the waves. The boat leans in the wind, in a balance between control and surrender. The seagulls enhance the feeling of freedom and space. For me, the piece is about an inner journey – courage, freedom, and daring to follow the wind.
