In “A Place Almost Remembered”, I worked with muted colors, fragmented shapes, and loose graphic marks. I wanted some forms to remain visible while others almost disappeared into the surface. For me, the painting carries the feeling of a place I somehow know but cannot fully remember. The details are gone, but the atmosphere remains. The painting is finished with a satin varnish that gently enhances the colors and provides a soft, protective sheen. An optional antique gold frame, as pictured, is available upon request (additional charge applies).
